2 x MC275's for twice the fun.

Don't pay too much for your McIntosh gear. Buy now while we still have them available for sale and save yourself thousands off the new cost price.

Unsurpassed Value & Performance from one of the best brands in Hi-End audio. You could do much worse for your money; and many have, don't be one of them.

From my testing, running two MC275's in mono sounds far better than one, so that is the way they will be sold. They produces a very rare combination of power and smoothness which is highly desirable but rarely found to be compatible with the majority of different system combinations available today.

150 McIntosh watts of vacuum tube power will drive most demanding Loudspeakers which I have had the pleasure of testing to real world reference levels without any sign of distortion or introducing unwanted listener fatigue.

Balanced and Single ended inputs are provided for.

Always use Balanced, it sounds twice as good.

The McIntosh MC275's are commonly known around the traps as the 'Count Dracula' of Tube Amplifiers because they never die. Long live Vacuum Tubes!

Gold Loudspeaker binding posts.

Something I could listen to all day long, musical, powerful and reliable. These three attributes have made the almightily MC275's an industry icon for many decades and I am sure they will continue to please for many to come.

An object of desire cherished by music lovers around the world, the MC275 was designed and engineered in 1961 by McIntosh co-founder Sidney Corderman and the McIntosh Engineering Team. Based upon the extraordinary Unity Coupled Circuit, the MC275 has a lush sound that presents a powerful and detailed soundstage.

The MC275 develops 75 watts per channel into 2, 4 or 8 ohm loads, or 150 watts in bridged mono mode. Both balanced and single ended inputs are supported. The mirror polished stainless steel and black chassis with die cast nameplate is presented here just as it was in the original 1961 model.

MC275 Tube Power Amplifier Features

FULL POWER DELIVERY

The MC275 Series V delivers 75 watts per channel into 4, 8, and 16 Ohm speakers.

ULTRA LOW NOISE AND DISTORTION

Distortion-canceling properties of McIntosh’s Unity-Coupled circuit and

unique Output Transformer design yield much lower distortion and noise across

the entire 20-20,000Hz music range.

WIDE BANDWIDTH

McIntosh’s exclusive Output Circuit and Transformer designs ensure ultra-wide

frequency bandwidth.

MONOBLOCK

The two 75-watt channels may be combined into a single channel of 150 watts

into 2, 4 or 8-Ohm loads.

INVERTED CHASSIS

Heat producing tubes are located on top of the chassis, under a protective

cage, while other circuits are shielded within the polished Stainless Steel

Chassis.
