This integrated component expands on the heritage established by the Krell KPS-20i CD player/processor. The KPS 25s incorporates a reference caliber analog preamplifier, with a professional-grade compact disc transport mechanism and an advanced digital-to-analog converter to provide unmatched sound reproduction from compact discs and other audio sources while providing convenient installation and operation. The disc transport's electronic shutter automatically activates to block stray light from affecting CD playback performance. The KPS 25s Krell Playback System received the prestigious Golden Note award of excellence by The Academy Advancing High Performance Audio & Video in 1998.
