Although Hydra Series products are already in use in the world's finest studios, the Guardian PRO Series trim form factor, rack mount capability and compact go-any where size will more ideally suit applications where the larger Hydra Series products are not as practical.

Guardian PRO products slender rack mount profile and portability are essential for home, pro studio, recording and custom install systems. The low profile of Guardian PRO Series belies their extraordinary performance capability when used within noisy recording and crowded custom and home-theater applications.

The PRO Guardian 6 and PRO Guardian 2 are capable of delivering 20 amp continuous noise-isolated current to any complete recording, film or music system. The PRO 2 can also be used to isolate microphones, projectors or other remote electronics from the rest of any complex studio or custom home system.

Guardian PRO's deliver a continuous 20-Amps of unrestricted current for power hungry audio/video systems. The Guardian PRO products use expensive electromagnetic breakers that eliminate the power losses and thermal noise often caused by fuses and cheap thermal breakers. Guardian PRO's do not use coils, transformers or baluns that restrict the instantaneous flow of current.

Guardian PRO's use the Shunyata Research exclusive three-stage Trident Defense System, formerly only available in the renowned Shunyata Research Hydra Series power conditioners.

This three-stage power protection method provides comprehensive power protection and the elimination of noise and power transients from just a few volts above the nominal 120 VAC, up to 6,000 volts. Many power conditioners and power strips use simple MOV protection schemes that degrade significantly over time and eventually burn out. These power conditioning products only protect against transient spikes above ~300 VAC, while allowing disturbances in the critical 120VAC to 300VAC range to pass through to your system. Guardian PRO Series power distributors protect through the entire range.
